The beginning of the year is the time when visions are planned and presented. We asked Roman, who together with Adela (his wife) founded Beany, for some news.
Where do you want to take the brand?
My main goal is still to produce premium sports equipment for kids, with experts and the kids themselves involved in the development. Then the TOP products can be created.
Next, expansion into other markets. Currently BEANY is on offer in sports shops almost all over Europe. I would like to further enter the North American and Arab markets.
What new products can we expect?
The basis is quality, which we want to maintain. Furthermore, the theme of CHILDREN'S SPORT = HEALTHY CHILDHOOD is important for BEANY.
Therefore, we want to develop more cooperation with physiotherapists, children's trainers and take into account their knowledge to educate ourselves and our customers.
Who is Roman Blažek?
Entrepreneur, father of two children, a man who has a rich sporting and professional past.
He started his own business in 2000, founding AR Sport Snowboards, running the Snowboards.cz project. Three years later he started to produce snowboards under his own brand Westige. In 2014, he made an investment in the E-commerce Holding group Rockaway. He and his wife founded the BEANY brand, which they have been successfully developing.
