WHY IS SNOWBOARDING AN IDEAL SPORT FOR CHILDREN?
Snowboarding combines outdoor exercise, strengthening balance and coordination, and improving physical and mental endurance. It gives children a sense of freedom, boosts their confidence and motivates them to push themselves beyond their limits.
In addition, time spent together on the slopes strengthens family bonds and can bring new sporting friendships. A love is born - for sport, exercise, the mountains and a great group. And it often lasts a lifetime.
THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT IS ESSENTIAL
So how do you get started with children? From scratch - or by choosing the right sports equipment for a comfortable and safe ride. The equipment should be of good quality, designed for the child's age, weight and ability.
A large number of parents rent snowboards for the first lesson. However, this can be a stumbling block - if they fail to choose the ideal board, the child may find it difficult to ride and be discouraged from further attempts instead of being enthusiastic and having a great experience.

DO NOT TAKE THE MINIATURE
"The ideal board should be light, soft and adapted to the child's weight so that they can easily control it. Parents shouldn't be put off by a rental shop and want a board from a brand that develops sports equipment for kids," says Beany owner and avid snowboarder, Roman Blažek.
It's important to choose a snowboard that is tailor-made for kids and not just a miniature of an adult snowboard. Adult boards have a certain thickness adequate to their height. If such a snowboard is scaled down to the child's height, it will be too heavy, the child will not be able to push it and will have a big problem turning on it, because the board has to bend a little in the turn.
Beany snowboards are the obvious choice in this respect - they are designed to meet the needs of child riders. Thanks to the unique Responsive technology, which consists of a demanding and precise sanding of the wooden core and special laminate folding, they are extremely light, flexible and great to handle.
It is advisable to get your child a complete set - snowboard, bindings and boots. Parents can be sure that everything fits together perfectly and that the child is comfortable.
SAY YES TO INSTRUCTORS
You already have the right equipment, so how do you teach your child to ride as well as possible?
Put him in a snowboard school! A professional instructor is the best choice. A trained pro is experienced in teaching children and knows exactly how to do it. He can not only teach them the technique, but also motivate and support them properly. In addition, he has more authority with the children than the parent, and the lessons go better.
Meanwhile, you can relax under the slope and enjoy the progress your child is making.

LET'S GET THIS THING GOING!
Is your little snowboarder already doing well on the board and are you starting to ride together? Then don't forget that snowboarding is not just about going down the slope, it's all about having fun!
Even on the board you can enjoy lots of games and fun activities together. Try one of our tips:
Slalom. A great activity to improve dexterity.
Race relay. Encourage competition and team spirit.
Treasure under the snow: Hide several small objects on the slope. Children can search and collect them as they go. They will practice not only attention and perception, but also dexterity and balance.
Sculpture: Children stop at a given place during the ride and make a "sculpture" (for example, try to stand on one leg). The others have to imitate the statue exactly. The game encourages balance and creativity.
Train. The route can be varied with simple activities (jumping up, touching the snow, waving, ...) which the others have to imitate.
Jump races: try building a small snow jump and let the children compete to see who can make the prettiest, longest or funniest jump.
Snowboarding: That snowboard is just for riding? No way! Try drawing simple shapes or letters in the snow and guess what they are together.
Snowboarding is never-ending fun. It 's a great way to motivate kids to get moving, teach them new skills and give them an unforgettable experience. The joy of movement, support and time spent together are the most valuable commodities. And who knows? You might discover a future snowboarding master in your child!
