Whether it’s a pump track, a trail, or a trip to the playground—the SMITH Sidekick Jr. gives kids the same style and protection as the “big” bikers. The helmet combines a classic MTB look, extended nape coverage, and the proven Mips® Safety System, which helps protect against oblique impacts and falls.
The lightweight in-mold construction combines a sturdy outer shell with shock-absorbing EPS foam into a single durable and comfortable unit. Thanks to the adjustable dial-based fit system, the helmet easily adapts to different head sizes—two children’s sizes are available for riders approximately 4 to 12 years old.
It features an integrated visor, comfortable inner padding, and twelve ventilation ports for a constant supply of fresh air. The AirEvac™ system ensures that goggles don’t fog up, and thanks to its low profile and lightweight strap, you’ll barely feel the helmet on your head.
