TOWEE - towels that have fun! The story of a brand founded by a lover of water - adrenaline sports and our friend Anna Mouchová.
How did you get into wakeboarding?
My first experience with waterskiing was in Florida. I enjoyed skiing until I found out that there was a lake full of crocodiles. In 2015, word quickly spread in Hradec Kralove that a wakepark was being built near the local sandpit. It was love at first ride and within a month I had all my gear. Thanks to my experienced lift buddies, I made quick progress. To this day wakeboarding is fun and most importantly relaxing for me. I have a sandbox 5 minutes from where I live and I'm addicted to those sunsets :).
Your perspective on kids playing sports?
I am of the opinion that children should be encouraged to play sports by their parents first and foremost. Children who don't have that background at home, unfortunately in most cases, don't catch up with sports at school. I like the trend of diverse sports events where they do not forget about the little ones. Inducing healthy competition in children is a prerequisite for further sports development. Although it's only been 6 years since I started wakeboarding, there is already a new generation of "wakeboarders" growing up. Already from birth children imitate and follow their parents. Let's set the right example!
What does the sport give you?
I've loved the water since I was a kid. My parents and I traveled around Europe in a caravan and whenever there was an opportunity, my dad would go windsurfing. I associate sport with relaxation and fun. I'm 100% dedicated to singing and have travelled the world thanks to the choir. I tried water skiing in America, surfing in Taiwan, kitesurfing in Cape Verde, and wakeboarding in Hradec Kralove. What more could I ask for? I wish for all of you that sport is a pleasure for you.
